What a Beautiful Day!

How do I even begin to describe our wedding day?  I think if I tried to say it with words, I would never get something posted - it just wouldn't be perfect enough!  So I'm going to say it in pictures instead...

Dan received his writing number, so he is now officially and AFLAC agent!  I couldn't be more proud!  And he looks amazing in his suits :)

Our wedding is less than 8 weeks away, and we are so excited!  We're looking forward to sharing our special day with all of you - those who can be there with us, and those who will be with us in their thoughts and prayers.  We're grateful to all of you for your love, support and friendship!

Remembering Donna

     A little over a year ago, the world lost a wonderful woman - Dan's mom, Donna.  I was blessed to know her for a few months before pancreatic cancer took her from us, and I miss her very much.  Donna made everyone who knew her feel special and loved - almost instantly!  Shortly after I moved to Minnesota, Donna invited me to spend the weekend with her while Dan was at drill - she had found out that my birthday was coming up and didn't want me to spend it alone.  I will always treasure my memories from that weekend and the other opportunities I had to spend time with her.

     After we found out she was sick, Mike (Dan's brother) recorded her telling one of my favorite stories from Dan's childhood.  I wanted to share the video here so that those of us who knew her could remember her together.

Woo Hoo!!!

Dan passed his exam, and he is now a licensed insurance agent in the state of Minnesota!  I'm so proud or my soon-to-be husband!
